A national paper products manufacturing company is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support HR initiatives for their facility in Monroe, LA. Responsibilities include performing duties that support HR policy and goals to promote a “high-performance” culture.
This is an onsite position in Monroe, LA and relocation is required. Relocation assistance is available.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Partner with HR leadership and line-management to implement initiatives that support the companies’ long term objectives
- Perform operational tasks related to labor relations, policy administration, recruitment, benefits, reporting & compliance
- Participate in labor relations and grievance resolution process
- Align department with organizational growth and change through staffing, talent development, organization design, performance management and succession planning
- Utilize reporting tools to acquire and analyze metrics to support data driven decision-making
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Minimum 3 plus years of human resources experience in a manufacturing or related environment
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Human Resources
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Previous experience with ER and/or labor relations
- Must have strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
· High intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
