RCS Millwork, a leading provider of building materials, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Tier II Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our valued customers. With a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business success.

As a Tier II Customer Service Representative at RCS Millwork, you will have the opportunity to work closely with both our internal teams and external customers. You will serve as their main point of contact, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert guidance on our products and services. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with our sales and operations teams to ensure seamless order management and timely delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Provide knowledgeable assistance on product selection, pricing, and availability
  • Process and track orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding order updates and any potential delays or issues
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to address customer needs and deliver exceptional service
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and suggest appropriate solutions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the building materials industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
