ODK Media, Inc. is a media group headquartered in Fullerton, CA that provides access to premium international content through its owned and operated streaming platforms, including OnDemandKorea, OnDemandChina, OnDemandViet, and Amasian TV. It also distributes content to global streaming services, cable operators, and movie theaters, serving as the Asian media hub for AAPI communities across the country.

We are currently looking for a Sales Executive (General Market) to join our growing team, who will be responsible for all inbound and outbound sales activity, including identifying leads, prospecting, cold calls, follow up, RFP, pricing and closing sales. This individual will work in collaboration with Content Teams to identify unique sponsorship opportunities and Marketing to unify and highlight ODK Media’s unique value proposition, and will work seamlessly with the AdOps Team to maximize impressions monetization.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and contact new prospects (Multicultural Agencies, Tier1 Agencies, Brands, and DEI/Multicultural Buyers).
  • Set up meetings and pitch ODK Media’s unique value proposition and establish messaging sequency and frequency.
  • Secure RFP’s and follow up through securing and IO.
  • Maintain prospect Pipeline and update Company Pipeline.
  • Stay up to date on the latest industry news and trends.
  • Stay in contact with Marketing and Content Team to better understand what events and content are occurring on platform sites.
  • Work with Studio Team to pitch Original Content Ideas
  • Work with the AdOps Team to optimize campaigns.
  • Prepare reports and messaging to running partners on performance of campaigns.
  • Update CRM on a daily basis and maintain sales pipeline.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital media sales, with a focus on video and connected TV in the DEI/Multicultural space
  • Proven success in prospecting, client acquisition, and revenue generation
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, video, and CTV ecosystems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment

ODK Media, Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The projected compensation includes a competitive base salary between $80,000 and $100,000, along with an enticing sales commission structure. Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
