Location: Corporate Office (Homebase), with travel to properties as needed

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Compensation: Competitive salary, Discretionary bonus, commensurate with experience

Reports to: Portfolio Leasing Manager

Position Overview

As a Leasing Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in our leasing operations, representing our communities to prospective residents while ensuring that current tenants receive outstanding service. You will engage directly with potential tenants, assist in leasing activities, and help maintain a positive, thriving community atmosphere. This position will require you to be adaptable, proactive, and a team player, collaborating with our property management teams and leveraging your expertise to enhance leasing performance across the portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leasing Support & Coverage
    • Provide leasing coverage for both stabilized and lease-up properties as needed.
    • Conduct property tours and effectively communicate the benefits and features of the community to prospective tenants.
    • Collect and review rental applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Perform tenant screenings, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Assist in tenant orientation and ensure a smooth move-in process.
    • Offer top-tier customer service, addressing inquiries from both prospective tenants and current residents.
  • Tenant and Prospect Communication
    • Maintain prompt communication with prospective tenants to ensure a positive and informative leasing experience.
    • Serve as a point of contact for residents with leasing-related inquiries or requests.
  • Property Takeover & Lease-Up Assistance
    • Provide support for the setup and launch of new or acquired properties, including assisting with leasing operations, office setup, and coordination with other departments.
    • Assist the Property Manager with key leasing tasks during periods of PTO or extended leave at priority properties.
  • Office and Administrative Support
    • Assist with general office tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and office organization.
    • Assist with maintaining property marketing and leasing materials.
    • Participate in the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive traffic to properties.
  • Audits & Online Presence
    • Conduct periodic website audits to ensure property listings are up-to-date and visually appealing.
    • Perform Independent Listing Service (ILS) audits to ensure accurate and consistent property representation across third-party platforms.
    • Conduct social media audits to ensure that leasing promotions and property highlights are effectively showcased online.
    • Contribute to growing our social media presence for each property.
  • Leasing & Marketing Collaboration
    • Provide feedback and insights to the Leasing and Marketing departments to improve processes, strategies, and online presence.
    • Be a resource for leasing questions and assist in streamlining leasing operations across the team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property leasing, leasing coordination, or customer service roles within the property management industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, prospects, and team members.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and foster a welcoming, professional environment for both prospective and current residents.
  • Knowledge of property management software (preferably ResMan and Harmoniq), or a willingness to quickly learn and master systems used in leasing and property management operations.
  • Social media and digital marketing experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
