Geotechnical Engineer

Potesta & Associates, Inc., an engineering and environmental consulting firm, is seeking an initiative-taking Geotechnical Engineer for employment in our Morgantown, West Virginia office. Responsibilities will include the preparation of geotechnical reports, construction drawings and specs, construction QA/QC, preparation of proposals and cost estimates, and evaluation of laboratory and/or field data for inclusion in reports, as well as participation in civil engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in engineering discipline (EIT or PE strongly preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in management of subsurface explorations, slope stability modeling, foundation analysis, landslide repairs, commercial and residential construction, and roadway improvements/repairs
• Effective communication, time management, and organizational skills
