Position: Experienced Real Estate Attorney – Seattle
Direct Counsel is seeking an Experienced Real Estate Attorney to join the Real Estate and Natural Resources Department of a leading Northwest regional law firm. Known for serving businesses across diverse sectors such as Technology, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Natural Resources, and Real Estate, this firm is committed to fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

Position Overview:
This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney with expertise in commercial real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leasing, and development-related contracts. The position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a collaborative environment while maintaining significant autonomy.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate practice, specifically in:
- Purchase and sale agreements.
- Real estate due diligence, including title reviews.
- Leasing.
- Real estate finance transactions.
- Development-related contracts.
- Demonstrated interest in business development and engagement within the real estate and construction industries.
- Strong academic credentials and professional references.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently while thriving in a collaborative team setting.
- Exceptional client service, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Washington State Bar admission or eligibility for reciprocity.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $185,000–$225,000, based on relevant skills and experience.
- Eligible for discretionary merit bonuses.

Work Environment:
- In-office work is required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with flexibility for remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
