We have a hybrid work environment. BDR team works in office together 3-4 days a week and works from home 1-2 days a week. We have an awesome office in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.
Jirav has created the next generation of budgeting and forecasting software for Business and Finance Leaders (CFOs, CEOs, VPs of finance, etc).
We are hiring for the position of Business Development Representative (BDR). The BDR will generate new business through outbound calls and targeted emails to potential clients. This position will be responsible for qualifying prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy then leveraging this information to align and sell Jirav’s product offerings. This position spends roughly 80% of the time on the phone/teleconference prospecting new clients. BDRs receive hands on training with an emphasis on strategic selling and a focus on researching targeted accounts. This position is a great way for individuals to gain in depth experience in a rapidly growing SaaS company.
About the Job:
The BDR will employ effective selling strategies to successfully position Jirav as a viable alternative to Excel and legacy forecasting and budgeting solutions.

Responsibilities
- Make cold, outbound outreach to potential new customers
- Make outbound calls & emails to prospects who are deemed to reside in one of Jirav core vertical markets
- Share information about Jirav and ask questions about the prospect's business intentions
- Discern propensity to buy and forward good potential leads to the Sales Account Executives to pursue
- Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives
- Learn the Jirav platform and be able to demo capabilities
- Record prospect information in CRM database
Requirements
Education and Experience
- A university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Familiarity with sales prospecting tool (e.g. Apollo, ZoomInfo, Outreach)
- Experience with G-Suite
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- A driven, enthusiastic and hard-working nature
- The ability to form strong business relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Outbound sales prospecting experience
- Prior experience in the SaaS industry

Logistics:

This non-exempt position is paid hourly $26.44 to $28.12, plus commissions up to $70k OTE. Jirav offers a competitive benefits package and this full-time position will accrue PTO at 160 hours per benefit year. We offer medical, dental, vision and life insurance for employees and dependents. A 401(k) retirement plan, and stock options are available.
