RP is seeking a Capture Manager to support our accelerated growth. The ideal candidate for the Capture Manager role has proven expertise in business development and government contracting. This individual shall be detail-oriented with a strong desire to make a positive impact. You’ll work in a people-first environment that promotes entrepreneurship, rewards innovation and growth, and encourages our employees to think strategically to develop solutions that drive long-lasting value for our federal customers.
This position will have the flexibility to work remotely, as well as from our office location.
Responsibilities:
- Grow RP’s base of US federal business by supporting the entire business development process
- Track, categorize, score, and continuously monitor new business opportunities from a variety of sources
- Work with the Growth organization to respond to task orders across RP’s Contract Vehicles (OASIS, MAS, Polaris, T4NG2)
- Research priority agencies, programs, and contacts and support agency leads on their business development activities
- Follow and uphold RP’s standard operating procedures for business development.
- Support ongoing capture and partnership activities
- Learn and maintain broad knowledge of current market conditions and customers.
- Prepare for upcoming meetings with partners, teammates, and customers by drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings, etc
- Represent RP at events and virtual/ in-person briefings as needed and report back on findings
- Create content as needed for proposals, presentations, pitches, and events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a combination of equivalent education and experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements. Military experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements.
- 5 years of experience
- Ability to collaborate within the broader RP BD Team and across other business units
- Experience working with a growth organization to build a team to respond to federal requirements.
- the ability to work for any US employer without requiring sponsorship
Preferred Experience:
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly and correctly interpret large amounts of information
- Personable, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Energy, drive, persistence, and dedication to overcome obstacles as they arise
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when required to attend events or support other business development activities
