Medical Laboratory Technician

The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in laboratory science and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, and microbiology
• Analyze test results and interpret their clinical significance
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results
• Communicate test results to physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• ASCP or AMT certification
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
