Full Job Description
Cecelia New York is seeking a Fulfillment, Retail & Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer has a memorable and enjoyable shopping experience. Your interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for our products will help drive sales and cultivate lasting relationships with our clientele. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our store's standards, educating customers about our offerings, and ensuring an inviting atmosphere. You will also work on customer order fulfillment, performing all the processes involved in the organization, distribution, and request fulfillment of all products. Other duties include the tracking of deliveries and general flex help with receiving and distribution of product.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide exceptional service to ensure a pleasant shopping experience
- Assist customers in locating products and making informed purchasing decisions
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment
- Educate customers about product features, benefits, and promotions
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve store performance
- In addition to retail customers, provide excellent customer service to online customers by fielding and responding to inquiries. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and care.
- Prepare eCommerce & wholesale orders for fulfillment
- Create labels for all allocated and requested products
- Help unload and stock products
- Verify quantities on products
- Maintain back stock storage and organization of products
- Keep the Inbound/Outbound work area clean, organized and efficient
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Accuracy and attention to detail: Maintain a high level of accuracy when verifying products and prepping for inventory counts.
- Computer and Point of Sale system experience
- Written communication skills: Ability to communicate clear and concise messages to coworkers and customers. Ability to write professional email messages to coworkers and customers
- Organization skills: Sort, categorize, label and store items according to standards
- Ability to walk 6 out of the 8 hour shift
- Ability to lift overhead and carry boxes up to 25 lbs
- Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 40 lbs
