Our client is a rapidly growing biotech company specializing in the development of diagnostic tests for the early detection of pervasive and progressive neurodegenerative diseases. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the Diagnostics division, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Identify and target potential clients within the healthcare industry, including diagnostic laboratories, hospitals, and healthcare providers.

- Our client is seeking their first Vice President of Business Development & Commercial Operations to lead their business development efforts in the United States. This individual will play a critical role in establishing and expanding the company's presence in the market. Initially, the VP of Business Development will be expected to be hands-on due to the startup nature of the role. There is a clear path for this position to transition into a Chief Operating Officer (COO) role within the next year as the team grows.
- Support fundraising rounds and investor relations.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in business development within the biotech or healthcare industry, preferably with experience in diagnostic test development.
- Extensive network within the industry and deep knowledge of diagnostic testing for neurodegenerative diseases.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a startup environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, advanced degree preferred.
