Full Job Description
Literie is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Sales Manager to lead and grow our B2B, custom product, and wholesale channels. This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience driving business development, managing corporate partnerships, and developing relationships with retailers across online, boutique, and brick-and-mortar formats. The Sales Manager will work closely with the founder and cross-functional teams to expand our footprint in B2B collaborations, custom product development, corporate gifting, licensed product collaborations, and wholesale distribution.
This is a remote role, open to candidates across the U.S., with occasional travel required for client meetings and industry events.
Contracted positions will be considered in addition to full time.
Responsibilities:
- Drive B2B Sales Growth: Lead outreach, negotiations, and relationship management for custom product and fragrance development opportunities, focusing on corporate gifting, branded merchandise, and licensing partnerships.Partner with brands, event organizers, and media companies to craft tailored solutions that reflect their unique identity.
- Lead Wholesale Expansion: Build and grow relationships with large retailers (online and brick-and-mortar) and boutique stores across the country. Develop and execute strategies to scale revenue with existing and new retail accounts, managing the entire wholesale sales process from prospecting to account management.
- Deliver Exceptional Client Success: Serve as the primary point of contact for B2B and wholesale clients, ensuring seamless execution and delivery. Collaborate with internal teams to manage production timelines, fulfillment, and quality control for custom and wholesale orders.
- Optimize Sales Operations: Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as revenue, margins, and account growth, providing regular reports to leadership. Develop sales forecasts and pipeline reports, contributing to data-driven decision-making. Work closely with operations to optimize pricing strategies, MOQs, and margins.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale, or business development within consumer products, gifting, and/or retail industries.
- Proven ability to establish and grow corporate partnerships and retail buyer relationships.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strategic account development pipelines.
- Experience with custom product development and managing design-to-delivery processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present to executive stakeholders.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to roll-up sleeves to take on nitty-gritty/hands-on tasks that come with an early-stage start-up.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
