The essence of the role
Your role is to lead the go-to-market strategy of the Sinch RCS services worldwide. You will be pivotal in shaping the Sinch and industry transition from SMS/MMS to RCS and be an active thought leader in the market.
Your immediate focus will be to drive the go-to-market for Sinch, including sales strategy defined by region as the market matures. Sinch is doubling down on RCS investment triggered by industry changes, and you work with all functions inside Sinch, including a partnered Technical Product Manager to deliver the quality standards our customers expect.
This is a fast-moving role that requires someone who knows the messaging industry, a great understanding of RCS and most importantly a driven individual with absolute conviction on what we should offer.
Your end goal is to accelerate Sinch’s expansion on the RCS product. You’ll be reporting to the VP, Commercial Product Management and will be accountable for RCS success worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the global RCS strategy for worldwide expansion.
- Subject matter expert on the RCS go-to-market needs, by market.
- Drive the buying / selling strategy on RCS worldwide with stakeholder support.
- Voice of the customers to adapt Sinch’s offering to meet requirements.
- Active in industry bodies / forums to be an advocate for Sinch and industry guidance.
- Define and build commercial guidance in customer transition from SMS to RCS
You’ll be part of the Messaging Network & API organization which includes teams of product managers and product operations teams based in multiple Sinch offices around the world. You will be based in USA or Europe.

Requirements
- Ability to articulate and present to different working levels from management to engineers
- Ability to break down complex requirements and explain them in simple terms/schemes
- Strong ownership of work and relationship with customers (internal and external)
- Strong analytical skills and structured daily work with attention to detail
- Strong collaboration skills and be a quick learner with passion for driving to a swift delivery
- The ability to own your work and make informed decisions then drive them forward
- A degree in engineering, product management or similar academic area, or relevant work experience from tech company
- 6-9 years of experience from similar positions, preferably working with presales, products or carrier relations at an operator or a CPaaS player.
- Understanding of RCS business messaging is a must.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $197,033 - $258,606. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This role will be accepting applications until March 29, 2024 at a minimum. Please note that the application timeline may be flexible to accommodate a comprehensive candidate evaluation.
