Overview

We are looking for an experienced ERP Consultant to assess client needs, determine ERP solution and deploy ERP software within an oil and gas organization. You will be consulting with other stakeholders and business units to determine ERP needs, analyze the performance of the IT infrastructure and implement ERP solutions. To ensure success as an ERP Consultant, you should demonstrate extensive knowledge of ERP solutions across multiple industries, as well as IT system integrations and the ability to document and report on each step of the ERP process from assessment to selection to full implementation effectively. This position is primarily remote, working mostly MST hours, requiring flexibility to hold meetings at times with employees across the USA and possibly Asia. At times, on-site visits to office locations may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the entire lifecycle of ERP implementation from assessment, selection through to implementation.

Determine ERP needs via consultative requirements gathering, business process analysis, and observations

Build business case and ROI. Manage budget and forecast once approved.

Evaluate existing IT infrastructure and recommend system selection

Develop and configure customized ERP solutions

Work with developers to write programs and scripts to design user-friendly interfaces and optimized functionalities

Deploy ERP solutions and ensuring seamless system integration

Ensure diagnostic tests are run and manage issue resolution to enhance performance

Support development and roll out of ERP end-user training and technical support

Document ERP processes and preparing deployment progress updates

Comply with industry regulations

Stay informed of the latest ERP developments, upgrades, and offerings

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or similar field of study

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in ERP implementations and consulting is necessary

Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is highly preferred

ERP certification, such as SAP ERP Business Process Integration or Oracle’s SaaS ERP desired

Extensive knowledge of business processes, ERP development tools, and coding languages

Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills

Superb problem-solving and analytical abilities

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Executive presence to confer with senior level stakeholders
