Job Overview
DMV IT Service requires the services of one (1) Systems Analyst 3 who meets the general qualifications of Systems Analyst 3, Applications/Software Development, and the specifications outlined for DMV IT Service.
The Systems Analyst 3 will:
- Understand business objectives and challenges, identify alternative solutions, and perform studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processes or improve existing computer systems.
- Confer with personnel from involved organizational units to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and clarify input/output requirements (such as data input forms, summary data, and report formats).
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
- Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine the feasibility of requested programs or program changes within existing systems.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience with overseeing Data Center services providers for compute and storage supporting 24/7 environments. Experience overseeing infrastructure and operations resources.
- 8 years of experience in establishing goals and objectives for maintaining the infrastructure, security, and Operation.
- 8 years of experience with technical implementation, scheduling, assessing problems, and communicating up to management. Oversees infrastructure changes.
- 8 years of experience in high level of technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of data center operations to support critical functions.
- 8 years of experience in Lead, plans, and assigns work for Server Support, Physical Database, and application teams that support Operation systems and databases.
- 8 years of experience assisting IT manager with oversight of two Data Center Services providers responsible for supporting computing, security, and storage components.
- 8 years of experience working closely with Data Center Services providers and Systems Architects to develop the Technology Roadmap Plan and set a strategic path for infrastructure and operations.
- 8 years of experience in overseeing environment expansion, migrations, modernizations for Storage/Compute/Network/Application systems. Responsible for maintaining detailed industry knowledge, especially around Cloud, and integrate those to internal technical domain knowledge.
- 8 years of experience overseeing multiple audits annually. Leading major projects for Operations which include migrations of Data Center hardware and software upgrades.
- 8 years of experience reviewing and approving Operations documentation which includes the Security Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, Operational Procedures, and Monthly Maintenance plan.
- 8 years of experience providing technical expertise, as a member of the Operations management team, on changes with the ecosystem, including the design and development of new technology, security events, and root cause analysis of all severity events.
- 8 years of experience with 24/7 on-call support.
- 5 years of preferred experience with DevOps and DevOps tools.
- 4 years of preferred experience in delivering technical training in cloud-based technology is a plus.
- 4 years of preferred experience with ITIL - ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow.
- 3 years of preferred experience managing Archer GRC.
