SeniorHealthPro is an insurance agency dedicated to provide uninsured individuals and seniors the best health coverage for their needs.
SeniorHealthPro now has two office locations, one in Houston and one in Katy, TX and serves in more than 30 states!
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized guidance to clients on health insurance options, including individual, family, and group plans.
- Educate clients about the features, benefits, and limitations of different health insurance policies.
- Assess clients' healthcare needs and financial situations to recommend suitable insurance plans.
- Assist clients with completing insurance applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, addressing any inquiries or concerns throughout the enrollment process.
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations, insurance products, and industry trends to provide up-to-date information to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence through exceptional service.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters and customer service representatives, to resolve client issues and expedite the enrollment process.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics, demonstrating a proactive approach to achieving business objectives.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and policies in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Health Insurance Agent or in a similar role, with a track record of success in sales and customer service.
- Active state insurance license(s) required.
- In-depth knowledge of health insurance products, including HMOs, PPOs, POS plans, and government-sponsored programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid).
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office applications and CRM software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
Preferred Qualifications: - Additional certifications such as Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) or Certified Insurance Agent (CIA) a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and [specific language] preferred.
- Experience working in a brokerage or insurance agency setting.
