POSITION PURPOSE:

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will work at the intersection of development, operations, and security, ensuring that our systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with industry standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Security Infrastructure:

• Configure and manage security tools and services such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
• Monitor and analyze logs, alerts, and events to identify and respond to security incidents and threats.
• Implement and manage access controls, authentication, and authorization mechanisms for systems and applications.

· DevOps Automation:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate security scanning tools (e.g., static analysis, dynamic analysis, dependency analysis) into the CI/CD pipeline to identify vulnerabilities early in the development process.
• Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure using tools like Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

· Continuous Improvement:

• Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
• Participate in security communities, forums, and conferences to share knowledge and enhance the security posture of the organization.
• Continuously improve and optimize security processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Understanding of network management principles.

· Experience in systems administration of Windows and Linux based operating systems.

· Working knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, Sentinel SIEM solution or similar technologies and Endpoint Security Solutions.

· Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, penetration testing, vulnerability scans and IDS/IPS concepts.

· Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.

· Ability to learn and communicate technical information to non-technical people.

· Must have excellent written & oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.

· Must emulate the Ntirety Values in all that they do.

· 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology (experience is Security considered a plus).

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

Supervisory Requirements: Does not require supervisory experience

Hours: To be determined based upon business need. This position is part of a team that operates on a 24x7x365 schedule and the employee must be willing to work on the schedule needed by the business. Shift work is required and subject to change depending on SOC operations.

Travel: Negligible
