Are you ready to make a significant impact on our journey to expand in the US market? Reporting to the SVP of Managed Markets, the Business Development Manager will be at the forefront of Serko's growth strategy, fueling customer acquisition and driving revenue. We’re seeking a dynamic professional with a strategic approach to sales, a passion for innovation, and the expertise to expand Serko’s footprint across the US market.

What you'll get to do

Seize New Opportunities: Proactively identify, target, and win new business, leveraging a strategic and relentless approach to client acquisition.

Build Strong Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs while fostering long-term partnerships.

Lead the Sales Cycle: Own the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and presenting to negotiating and closing deals.

Drive Market Strategy: Analyze trends, competition, and customer needs to position Serko as a market leader.

Achieve Results: Consistently exceed KPIs, revenue goals, and sales targets, ensuring measurable impact on business growth.

What you'll bring

  • Proven success in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within SaaS or tech with significant experience in your current or previous roles.
  • Experience engaging and developing trusting relations with C-level executives and navigating enterprise sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS products, cloud solutions, and technology ecosystems.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical problem-solver with a collaborative, goal-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in the business travel industry and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
