Training & Document Control Specialist
HIROTEC MANUFACTURING AMERICA, located in Fayetteville, Tennessee is part of the HIROTEC Group, headquartered in Hiroshima, Japan. HIROTEC Group delivers body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, flexible closure manufacturing tooling and stamping dies to automotive customers around the world. With a US headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI, HIROTEC Group operates 33 facilities in eight countries.
We are currently seeking a Training & Document Control Specialist to become a part of the HIROTEC team.
The Training & Document Control Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the documentation and training programs within the automotive manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, the specialist will develop and deliver training programs to ensure all employees are proficient in their roles and understand the necessary procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Control:
- Manage and maintain all controlled documents, including processing and recording revisions.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of documents, and that they meet set standards in terms of quality and compliance.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents.
- Coordinate all activities related to the document control procedure, including the distribution of documents and ensuring access.
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation.
- Prepare reports and audits to help identify document inconsistencies.
- Training:
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on document control procedures and other relevant topics.
- Assist managers in creating training curricula, materials, and documentation.
- Maintain training records and documentation within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Provide customer service and training to all employees needing assistance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Other duties and projects may be assigned based on operational objectives
This position requires a high school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have working knowledge ISO 9001 and an ability to maintain confidentiality of information. Strong MS office skills and utilized LMS skills are helpful.
