About the role:
We are currently seeking an Expeditor with experience using an MRP system and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. The candidate will work within the Supply Chain department with focus on material procurement and expediting, and Process Control along with Production efficiency. The ideal candidate will work directly with the Value Stream Planner on expediting inbound materials as required for the successful delivery of products to our customers, helping the team in expediting any components as needed. Being a team player and supporting the organization and filling in gaps as needed based on need.

Reporting to: Plant Manager
What you will do:
· Help VSP expedite materials from suppliers on a daily basis..
· Check and monitor component availability for assembly production.
· Production Reporting and scheduling capability.
· Be flexible in helping out any other department as needed within means.
· Answer door and receive parcel packages.
The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience in the role in similar fields. Will be a dynamic person, with a self-starter and can-do attitude.
Key requirements include:
· Previous experience in an Expeditor, Buyer role, with knowledge of vendor communication protocols.
· Experience with purchasing and shipping processes.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
· Computer skills and experience with Microsoft office with Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. MRP, ERP experience a plus.
· Strong Verbal and Written communication as required for Expediting and order purchasing and customer interaction.
Preferable requirements include:
· Experience with MRP systems especially with Purchasing modules a plus.
· Knowledge of Supply Chain Terminology.
· Strong communication and follow-up attitude.
Knowledge / Education:
· Microsoft Excel, Office, Outlook.
· Minimum High school Diploma or GED.
· MRP knowledge a plus.

• Dynamic personality, ready to move from one task to others following priorities and needs.
• Being a Team Player and willing to deal with different departments in order to ensure Customer’s needs are understood and fulfilled.
