Gwynedd Manufacturing, a prominent defense contractor situated in North Wales, PA, specializes in providing high-quality manufacturing solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies.  As a Human Resources Specialist (Onsite), you will be an integral part of our HR team, responsible for administering HR processes and supporting the overall HR function. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can effectively manage various HR responsibilities and contribute to creating a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Experience with bi-weekly payroll processing
  • Administer and monitor all LOA, FMLA, ADA and Workers compensation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, and interview coordination.
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and general employee relations matters.
  • Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training programs and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Participate in special HR projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to interpret HR metrics and reports.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
