We aim to optimize the lifespan and health span of all our members through meticulous screening and tailored interventions to prevent, reverse, or manage all major chronic diseases.

Each member’s care is led by a dedicated Chief Medical Officer who collaborates on your behalf with specialists in cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, gynecology, endocrinology, performance, movement, and more. Our exceptional clinicians also work closely with the 60+ members of the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine, top experts in their respective fields who are available for rapid consults, support, and referrals.

Requirements

    • We are looking for a primary care, family medicine or urgent care experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to assist in after hours triage for our primary care practice and multispecialty group.
    • The ideal candidate will be confident in triaging calls from our members for urgent care requests in the evening and after hours time frame.
    • During training, we’ll ask for daytime availability to gain familiarity with the workflows and team.
    • While most expected shifts will entail only telemedicine, this clinician may occasionally be dispatched for after hours visits including swabs, phlebotomy, or urgent care within scope of practice. 
    • Partner with Atria physicians to provide exceptional care with direct and indirect supervision for urgent Home Care visits.
    • Adaptability to gain training and demonstrate competencies in a variety of Point of Care Testing modalities and devices.
    • Flexibility to perform clinical, administrative and clerical tasks outside routine scope of practice.
    • Providing Home Care Services for minor procedures, such as insertion of peripheral IV for medication administration, wound care, vaccinations and phlebotomy techniques.
    • Documentation and appropriate maintenance of Medical Records for members
    • Telehealth visits & Electronic prescribing of medications as needed
    • EMR data integration
    • Opportunities for Growth & Development through involvement in various initiatives such as committees for Quality & Patient Safety, Protocol & Procedure Development and Review Processes
    • Maintains a high quality workforce to assist in the achievement of the Organization’s Mission.
    • Maintenance & upkeep of Professional Licenses, Certifications, DEA certification, State requirements and National Certifying Agencies credentials
    • Participates in appropriate continuing medical education programs for maintenance of Continued Medical Education and CUEs for professional licensure

Salary Range: $170,000 - $190,000 (Per-Diem opportunities also available!)

Qualifications:

  • Current NYS License required as NP for specialty, or current NYS Licensed PA
  • 2+ years’ experience as a practicing NP (BC) or PA-C
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Available for variable on-call assignments including weekends.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Internal Medicine and Family Medicine (Preferred).
