Full Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Digital Designer to join our regional in-house creative design team. As a Digital Designer, you will have a solid background in digital forward designs, motion graphics, and video. You will work on digital campaign designs, all business-as-usual updates, as well as evergreen digital brand experiences.

 

You will also work closely with the marketing team, education team, events team, and internal people’s team to make product page infographics, digital ad banners, social media posts, OOH graphics and videos, Canva graphics, and email artwork.

 

You will be driven, organized and able to inspire and collaborate with your team members to deliver great work.

 

Reporting to the Creative Team Director, you will be responsible for the brand’s regional visual identity across all digital channels, ensuring beautiful and consistent creative at all times. You will also be the “go-to” person for all Canva needs. You will be responsible for designing, managing, and uploading templates to Canva for our Field team to use.

 

This is a collaborative and high-productive work environment with no project managers, so attentiveness and the ability to handle multiple projects with ease are a must.

 

This role will be about 60% production work and 40% creative ideation. We are a regional design team that produces regional artwork based on the globally provided style guides.

 

 

Role Accountabilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following

 

  • Creating, editing and delivering digital assets for the website, emails, display, OOH, organic social media, and paid social media creative.
  • Translate global campaign creative into regional digital assets that are engaging and creative, as well as commercially attractive.
  • You should be comfortable with both original conceptual designs, as well as interpreting predetermined creative direction from a larger campaign and adapting for online
  • Developing online exclusive campaign concepts with guidance from higher management
  • Working within digital constraints and exploring new ways of challenging and innovating the brand digitally, through new layout design, motion graphics and typography
  • Communicate effectively in a cross-functional team including marketing, PR, events, education, and within the design team. This includes presenting your work as part of a larger campaign.
  • Thoroughly understand Charlotte Tilbury’s DNA and properly implement in projects. Always remembering that you might have to alter what you consider best design practices to meet the “Charlotte Tilbury” pre-approved global look.
  • Keep up to date with trends, design techniques, digital advancements, and competitors to help improve the team’s approach to digital design.
  • Ensuring that all digital ads and web assets meet ADA compliance.
  • Video editing and motion graphics of regional assets and delivery
  • Create a partnership with our global digital partners.
  • Diligent approach to ensuring all content is optimized for multiple devices

Requirements

Key Selection Criteria

  • A strong design portfolio demonstrating innovative digital design across all channels (website, emails, social, video, motion graphics) - involvement in any redesign projects
  • Video editing and motion graphics experience is a must
  • Highly competent with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Able to work in project management systems like Asana
  • Experience working within the Luxury / Fashion / Beauty sectors is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of online accessibility and UX & UI
  • Great sense of design and composition with a strong eye for layout and appreciation of brand guidelines across all devices and channels
  • Ability to work well using own initiative, as well as foster a spirit of teamwork
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A nimble approach to working, with the ability to juggle multiple briefs
