Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working directly with the patients to create trusting relationships
- Assisting patients with the therapy plan of care created by an Occupational Therapist
- Helping patients develop, recover, and improve ADLs
- Providing rehabilitation for patients suffering from various diagnoses affecting ADLs
- Completing required documentation in a timely and detailed manner
- Ability to successfully collaborate with the interdisciplinary team dedicated to each patient's care plan
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an institution accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Current New Mexico License
- One year of experience preferred
- Reliable, insured transportation & a valid driver's license
