You would be responsible for maintaining inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment in our main location in downtown Reno. What would you do as an Inventory Clerk?
This position focuses its time and effort on the following duties, though others may be required:
- Receive, unload, restock and organize materials, supplies, and equipment;
- Interact with sales representatives resolving issues and problems related to supplies or the delivery of supplies;
- Track inventory, maintain documentation and update on statuses in inventory system;
- Maintain adequate inventory levels by checking shelves and inventory system;
- Check inventory for expiration dates and rotate stock as needed;
- Review and evaluate upcoming delivery schedule for equipment and supplies;
- Conduct and report on physical inventory counts monthly;
- Track equipment and supplies loaned or borrowed from other facilities;
- Deliver supplies and materials to appropriate destinations;
- Run errands as requested (i.e. bank runs, office supplies), including unscheduled deliveries and pickups
Additional Responsibilities as Assigned
- Sort incoming mail for departmental mail slots located in Central Supply;
- Maintain company vehicle and promptly report issues.
Note: This position is considered a Safety-Sensitive position, incumbents may be subject to drug screening (both before and during employment).
Requirements
Certifications/Education
- High School Diploma/GED;
Preferred Qualifications - How can you set yourself apart from other applicants? (if app.)
- One year of experience in a similar position
