Las Vegas Petroleum is a rapidly growing operator of travel centers, consisting of gas stations, convenience stores and restaurants. With 13 Conoco-branded C&G assets in the Las Vegas Metro area, and the ability to purchase unbranded fuel through partnerships with Phillips 66, Gulf, Sunoco, 76, and Conoco, we supply over one million gallons of fuel per month to 32 locations. As a Full Time Hourly Shift Lead at Las Vegas Petroleum, you will play a critical role in managing daily operations and providing exceptional customer service at our convenience store locations. This position is designed for motivated individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking to take on leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise staff during shifts, ensuring consistent service levels and adherence to company policies.
• Assist in training and mentoring new team members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, aiming for complete customer satisfaction.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization to meet health and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management, including stocking shelves and managing product displays.
• Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accurate transactions and balancing of cash registers.
• Assist in implementing promotional displays and store initiatives to drive sales.
• Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and team about daily goals, challenges, and achievements.
• Ensure all team members are aware of safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

To be considered for the Full Time Hourly Shift Lead position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or convenience store operations preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling and inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30-50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must have valid TAM/Alcohol Awareness Card and Health Card.
