On the field job, climbing on roofs, carrying ladders, handling materials, driving to different locations, door knocking, being exposed to the elements (heat, cold), etc.
The main mission of this position is to oversee the residential sales team and drive them to achieve the weekly, monthly, and year-end sales goals. While the Sales Manager's top-line goals will be revenue-driven, the day-to-day functions of the role will involve the mentorship and training of the salesforce to give them the tools that they need to succeed. We are looking for someone who will be in the trenches with the team and show them what success means.
THIS IS NOT AN OFFICE POSITION: activities such as door knocking, adjuster meetings, inspections, and closing sales are expected. The Sales Manager will be expected to conduct daily meetings with his/her sales team and monitor and manage such sales metrics as; Preset leads closed, leads generated, adjuster meetings and submitted claims, and analyze KPIs.

Salary: From $60,000.00 per year
Requirements
As a Storm Restoration Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met. You will achieve this by drafting, training, coaching, and leading a team of sales representatives who help property owners after severe weather events. You will lead the charge by inspecting roofs, meeting with clients, canvassing neighborhoods, and knocking on doors to generate new leads. You will develop agendas and lead celebratory meetings to continually motivate a 1099 field sales team. You will assess team members quickly and put into play the best starting lineup. You will execute ways to increase the sales team's revenue produced and advance individual performance through things like competitive assessments, and product, and sales training. You will exemplify a people service attitude by exceeding our client's needs and creating and providing opportunities for their sales team to earn income.
You will establish individual sales quotas and track performance against expectations. You will develop and implement specialized and targeted sales strategies. You will perform complex tasks by following established company processes. You will lead and direct the work of other employees and have full authority over personnel decisions. You will be responsible for driving lead generation and/or qualification standards. You will actively recruit new members to your team and take a vigorous role in their success.
You will be required to travel 70% of the time for fieldwork. You should have comprehensive knowledge of the field’s concepts and principles. Typically, this position requires a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience. You should have the ability to execute sales, teach and train sales teams, drive lead generation, and foster teamwork. You should have management skills, oral and written communication skills, the ability to build collaborative relationships, customer service skills, lead generation skills, and interpersonal skills, including motivational leadership.
Please note that the Company will conduct a Motor Vehicle Report check upon hire and will monitor the driving record. Other job duties may be assigned as needed.
