Outside Sales 

North Star Services, a long serving HVAC provider in North Central and Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin is growing its offices and we are looking for energetic Outside Sales representatives to serve and help our large customer base.   We pride ourselves on our commitment to reliability, integrity, and unparalleled customer service, and we're looking for individuals who are excited to share these values in joining our teams.

Our Ideal Candidate: 

An Outside Sales team member builds positive relationships with customers, secures projects that help those customers, develops new accounts and ensures repeat business from our large existing customer base.  They are responsible for understanding the needs of the customer and how to meet those needs. They are able to produce proposals  and fulfill the needs of the project upon sale.  Will perform heat loss and heat gain load calculations; lays-out and designs HVAC systems per the North Star Services provided model; and they will have, or they will quickly develop a strong working knowledge of the HVAC industry. 

Requirements  

  • HVAC sales experience preferred but not required.
  • 3 years marketing / sales experience preferred.
  • A team mindset to sales that is supportive and collaborative with all teams.
  • Excellent communication , presentation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in enterprise systems with electronic real time use with customers
  • Knowledge of currently available HVAC  equipment and control systems as well as aged systems and system life cycle impacts preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion
  • Influence and direct projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Have strong growth mindset
  • Maintain curiosity and be ready for constant learning. 

Pay:

  • Compensation: $70K-$175K/Year
