IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Project Manager. The Project Manager will lead and oversee our team's support in planning, organizing, managing, coordinating, and tracking multiple competency areas, operations, resources, client satisfaction, customer and corporate reporting, overall delivery, as well as contract and personnel administration. This includes ensuring quality deliverables and services, client responsiveness and satisfaction, contractual responsiveness and compliance, contract risk and issue management, financial management, and seeking organic growth for the contract scope and revenue. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and have experience managing a diverse staff of different disciplines to produce results on schedule and develop efficient strategies and tactics to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization. You will need time management skills to balance Project Manager workloads and customer tasks.
Location: Hybrid Woodlawn, MD (2-3 days On-site)
Responsibilities:
- Serve as point person for the project contractor staff, including fielding your team members’ questions, addressing concerns, and discussing professional goals
- Work closely with the corporate team and Program Manager/Director to lead teambuilding actives to create team culture that attracts talent & integrates staff into high-performing team
- Manages delivery of project deliverables, milestones, significant events within budget and delivery guidelines
- Conduct periodic project reviews such as Program Management Reviews (PMRs) with customers and ITC executive leadership by highlighting achievements using data and strategic insights, establishing a vision of future deliverables and achievements, and gaining buy-in and support and grow the account
- Have situational awareness of your team member’s workloads, keeping open lines of communication with staff to help with challenges, maintain engagement, and provide support
- Notify customers and document team member’s planned leave, emergency leave, flex out, or late arrivals
- Conduct performance reviews/check-ins with team members including recording feedback and discussion
- Demonstrates and promotes ITC’s CORE concepts of teamwork, integrity, driven, customer-centric and innovation
- Submit kudos and nominate staff for DRIVE awards for exemplary behavior
- Address issues and resolve conflict, taking disciplinary steps if necessary
Administrative
- Ensure timely submission and approval of time sheets, leave requests, and expense requests
- Produce and deliver monthly reporting and records management, including drafts, edits, and peer review
- Ensures all staff completes ITC/Contract required training in timely manner
- Demonstrates understanding of role, project objectives, and customer mission
- Check ITC email at minimum daily, and forward those emails to the team as needed
- Provide input to Past Performance write ups
- Provide input to Monthly Meeting Agendas
- Offer feedback or suggestions for process improvement
- Follows ITC Quality Assurance programs including ISO and CMMI processes
Staffing
- Review resumes and select candidates for interviews
- Interview new candidates and provide feedback
- Onboarding of new hires and out processing for departing staff
- Provide input to Contract Proposals and other Business Development (BD) efforts, as needed
- Solicit Team for input for data calls, as needed
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- BSc/BA degree in management or a relevant IT field; MSc/MA is a plus
- 10+ years managing, consulting, business analyst, or similar experience
- 8+ years management experience supporting a federal client
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with customers, technical SMEs, and other project team members to establish, monitor, and perform against requirements and deliverables
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Planner, MS Project, etc.) is a strong advantage
- Maintain up-to-date financials and manage cost under and overruns
- Must be within commutable distance to SSA HQ location- Woodlawn, MD
Preferred Skills:
- PMP certification strongly preferred
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

- Excellent problem-solving ability
Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
