Beltway Companies is a leading heavy-duty truck dealership dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and high-quality products. Our Hagerstown location is seeking someone who specializes in heavy-duty retail and aftermarket parts. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Parts Manager to join our team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Parts Manager at Beltway Companies, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the Hagerstown Parts Department and ensuring optimal performance. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Set and achieve department goals.
  • Train and supervise staff.
  • Manage the operating budget.
  • Maintain balanced inventory and optimize turnover.
  • Establish pricing and profitability parameters.
  • Oversee stock ordering and special orders.
  • Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory.
  • Develop and manage a wholesale parts program.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and timely parts turnaround.
  • Conduct meetings, oversee payroll, and ensure compliance with safety and regulations.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in transportation, parts, or service environments required.
  • Qualifications include technical school degree in automotive or diesel, parts counter experience, or vehicle/heavy duty equipment repairs.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and collaboration with all departments.
  • Conduct oneself and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to embrace change.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with a positive attitude.
  • Basic PC skills, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to stand, move constantly, and work outside for an 8-hour shift.

  • The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range would be $50,000 to $75,000 with bonus opportunities.
