Responsibilities
- Assist CPA with preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Conduct preliminary data analysis and reconciliations for clients' financial statements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and tax-related projects.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation.
- Prepare supporting documentation for tax audits and inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules as needed.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and changes that may affect client accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active pursuit of CPA certification or relevant credentials.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
