Maintenance Tech - 1st & 2nd Shift

Responsible for equipment repairs, operations, safe production standards, and day-to-day functioning of the machines and tools critical to the organization. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Conducts PM's on machines
• Inspects equipment and systems for any issues
• Completes Day to Day maintenance repairs 
• Follows all company policies and procedures as outlined in the company handbook
• Follows all departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Promotes and maintains a clean and organized department and working area. 
• Communicates any and all safety issues, incidents and near misses observed. 
• Reports major problems with machinery and downtime to the Supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Previous Mechanical or Electrical Experience - minimum of 2 years
• Effective problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job; bending, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work a flexible schedule for overtime and weekends
• Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Willingness to be accountable for the level of quality produced
• Manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, reading and comprehension.
• Ability to determine mechanical priorities.
• Displays a positive attitude.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
