Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the need for respiratory therapy interventions.
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory care techniques and device usage.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure integrated care strategies.
• Maintain proper documentation of patient treatments in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory therapy.

Requirements

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification and any additional relevant certifications, such as BLS or ACLS.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients effectively.
• Prior experience in a clinical environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to adapt to various healthcare settings and work independently.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and continuing education.
