Job Description
The Associate Analyst will identify optimal acquisition opportunities by conducting financial underwriting, property assessments, and thorough market analysis. Working directly with company principals, the Associate Analyst will be responsible for presenting these opportunities to investors through extensive proforma modeling, analysis reporting, and property due diligence. The Associate Analyst will also provide services with ongoing asset management of our current portfolio.
Essential Functions
- Analyze development and acquisition projects using Microsoft Excel modeling spreadsheets
- Use industry tools to assemble market intelligence to support investment thesis
- Work on pilot underwriting AI programs and provide feedback for improvements.
- Analyze data and evaluate investment highlights concerning the acquisition, development potential and feasibility of potential projects
- Prepare investment packages and coordinate due diligence for new acquisitions, financings, and dispositions
- Participate in property budgeting process
- Develop and maintain overall project budget and schedules
- Prepare a variety of analyses, statements and reports for management, equity partners and lenders
- Work with our Deal tracking CRM to track deal pipeline and suggest improvements.
- Assist management team on other projects as assigned
Requirements
- Recent bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business or related industry experience is preferred but not required. Ideal candidate could also be currently pursuing a degree in one of the above majors
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Ability to communicate complex information succinctly
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Full time in office position
