Full Job Description

We are currently hiring an Industrial Electrical Journeyman for site work in southern Arizona and New Mexico. If you're looking to join a team that values your skills and provides daily per diem for on-the-road work, Phasor USA is the place for you!

Position: Commercial/Industrial Electrical Journeyman

Responsibilities:

·         Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components.

·         Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

·         Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform diagnostics to ensure proper operation.

·         Works directly with apprentices, and when appropriate, directly engages and mentors them.

·         Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

·         Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards.

·         Work efficiently in various commercial/industrial environments, including manufacturing plants, warehouses, electrical substations and processing facilities.

·         8 hour shift in-town (40 hours a week)

·         10-12 hour shift (out of town)

·         Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)

Requirements

The candidate must possess and be adaptable to the following physical abilities and working conditions:

·         Move about the jobsite as needed.

·         Move work related equipment up to 50lbs.

·         Operate various technological devices, including but not limited to a computer.

·         Occasionally ascend/descend ladders and/or stairs.

 

Qualifications:

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         Valid Driver’s License Required

·         Current journeyman license or certification in Idaho and/or New Mexico.

·         Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical installations and repairs.

·         Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·         Electrical License (Preferred)
