Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' substance use and mental health issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and best practices.
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to facilitate recovery and support clients' progress.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation following industry standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and case managers, to ensure holistic care.
  • Educate clients and their families about substance use disorders and available resources for recovery support.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.).
  • Experience in substance abuse treatment and knowledge of evidence-based therapies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices.
