Full Job Description
Supports the overall Business Operations, leveraging the ERP to drive process improvements to achieve Operational Excellence (OE). Assists the Supply Chain and Operations leadership team, and other adjacent departments, to define, measure, analyze and improve key business processes that will drive growth and profitability. Processes to improve will be inter-department and cross functional. Responsibilities include KPI’s and Dashboards, both the establishment and maintenance thereof.
Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as the champion for the systems that will support the OE transformation of Supply Chain, which requires deep and broad intimacy with overall functionality of the Infor SAAS ERP system
- Lead the portfolio of workflow process improvements with a Project Management mindset
- Process Improvements will consider other applications outside the ERP
- Contemplate system modifications/customizations to optimize workflows and processes
- Approach all improvements with data-centricity and historical baselines
- Establish management reporting routines and improvement road maps with a long-term view
- Assess and recommend both in house and outside resources requirements
- In addition to Supply Chain, the improvement portfolio includes Industrial/Maintenance/Repair, Order to Invoice, and other traditional business processes support by an ERP platform
- Owner of Supply Chain and Operations dashboards, and dashboards related to process projects
- Leverage methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management etc.
- Internal Controls Liaison between Supply Chain and other Department needs
- Assists during mergers and acquisitions to ensure processes are assessed and gap analysis completed prior to integration
Management Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and direction to direct reports in accordance with the organization's strategy, goals, policies and procedures.
- Work with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees.
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
- Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed.
- Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization.
- Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
- Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment.
- Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessary.
- Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, job rotation, training, vacations, and paid time off, telecommuting, cover for absenteeism, and overtime scheduling.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have ERP intimacy
- Strong work initiative, with organizational, communication and time management skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Detail oriented, data centric, and experience producing dashboards
- Proven experience delivering financial results
- MRO highly desirable, industrial experience in like industry
- LEAN and SixSigma highly desirable
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with focus on Supply Chain, Operations, or Business
- 5+ years of related Supply Chain and Operations experience
- 5+ years process improvement experience
Benefits
- Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually
- Bonus Plan: eligible for a Short Term Incentive (STI) bonus that is up to 25% of annual salary
- Work Location:Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Travel Expectations: up to 50%
