Full Job Description
The Position:
The Project Manager is directly responsible for the seamless, high-quality execution of up to $2.5M in temporary structure contracts each year. They serve as the liaison between our clients and the Operations Team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this is a full-time, year-round, in-person salaried position with benefits. This role will require evening and weekend work as well as some local travel.
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control with guidance from the Production Manager.
Responsibilities:
The success of the Project Manager will directly impact on customer and employee satisfaction, as well as the Company’s profitability. The following list of responsibilities is merely a framework and may be expanded upon as necessary.
- Speak with and advise clients who have inquired about Greenwich Tent services
- Perform site checks (some daily travel will be required)
- Perform pre-job cost analyses and create proposals, drawings, and renderings
- Manage document flow between all stakeholders
- Coordinate with Operations Team regarding scheduling, inventory, and general production planning
- Be onsite for large scale events to coordinate & mark out sites with Operations Team
- Manage the Accounts Receivable
- Perform post-event profitability analyses
- Perform some Business Development outreach to Leads provided by Director of Sales
- Increase technical knowledge of current & new products provided by GTC through training.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 experience in a similar role (event industry experience is preferred)
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- A strong desire to serve customers’ needs even in high-stress circumstances
- Proven ability to “close the loop” on any task, whether explicitly assigned to them or implicitly required as part of their position
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and CRM software
- General knowledge and experience with job costing
