Full Job Description

The Compliance Support Specialist (CSS) works with other stakeholders to ensure that CorCystems and its clients meet cyber compliance goals, including earning and maintaining certifications of compliance with regulatory standards. This role’s primary focus is identifying and supporting the compliance needs of CorCystems’ managed service clients and working with compliance and project team members to meet those needs in an efficient manner. The CSS will work closely with the security and compliance team to continually develop, maintain and update our company’s Security and Compliance offerings and policies.

  • Provide friendly, professional customer service to clients.
  • Take the lead on compliance requirements and requests from both CorCystems and Clients.
  • Participate in the enforcement of compliance policies and audits for both internal and client systems.
  • Coordinate with CorCystems support team and management to assist in the development and the execution of the company's Information Security and Compliance strategy.
  • Conduct assessments of client networks against common cyber security frameworks and generate actionable reports, including gap assessments and remediation recommendations and ensure that clients progress toward compliance goals.
  • Participate in incident responses including consulting with clients and vendors as required to keep them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or outages and root cause.
  • Ensure client technology is aligned with cybersecurity framework requirements.
  • Act as the lead technical resource in conducting security assessments and gathering compliance evidence and lead technical conversations with clients regarding both security and compliance
  • Creating and maintaining both internal and client technical documentation for security and compliance requirements
  • Act as a subject matter expert for our Compliance Platform and provide the necessary internal training on an ongoing basis to aid in team growth.
  • Handle client projects as it relates to risk and compliance to include the management of timelines, objectives and milestones.
  • Able to encourage clients to adopt CorCystems compliance programs.
  • Ensure that all compliance documentation is maintained and updated.
  • Actively acquire knowledge of cyber threat actor tactics and techniques
  • Escalated resource when required for help desk support tickets
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Escalate service issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels.
  • Business awareness: specific knowledge of the customer and how IT relates to their business strategy and goals.
  • Regularly document processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise as they occur.
  • Work through a daily schedule in ConnectWise that has been established through the dispatch process.
  • Enter all work as service tickets in ConnectWise.
  • Maintain certifications required for position

Requirements

  • Experience with best-practice security frameworks or compliance standards, such as PCI, HIPAA, NIST, ISO27001
  • Experience working with compliance toolsets such as Control Map, AppTega or other comparable products.
  • Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Ability to de-escalate situations
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • BA/BS, preferably in computer science or a related field.
  • IT Security Certification, such as CISSP, CISA/CISM, SANS-GIAC, etc. is a plus.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with drafting and/or implementing policies meeting common security frameworks

Total Annual Earnings: $65,000 - $85,000
