A leading Business Management & Tax Advisory firm in Los Angeles is searching for a skilled Tax Manager to join its dynamic team. This hybrid position provides the unique opportunity to manage high-profile clients, including entrepreneurs, entertainment professionals, and high-net-worth individuals, while leading a dedicated team of tax professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and develop a team of tax professionals, ensuring efficient and accurate tax preparation and driving team performance.
- Design and implement sophisticated tax planning strategies, optimizing savings while maintaining compliance.
- Ensure that all filings adhere to federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, acting as their go-to advisor for all tax-related needs.
- Work with accounting and business management teams to provide holistic financial services to clients.
Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a CPA firm.
- Minimum of 5+ years in tax advisory, specializing in high-net-worth individuals and complex tax situations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA or EA certification required.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, excellent client communication, and proficiency in tax software and MS Office.
- A passion for problem-solving and optimizing tax solutions for clients.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
