We are partnering with a leading firm nestled in the vibrant community of Encino.  Our client is renowned for delivering exceptional financial and management solutions to a diverse array of clients.  They are now seeking a highly skilled Senior Account (CPA) to elevate their dynamic team and contribute to their continued success.

About the Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategies of our client's esteemed clientele. This position offers the perfect blend of strategic planning, detailed financial analysis, and hands-on tax management, all within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Manage all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and preparation for a diverse client base, optimizing tax strategies to enhance financial outcomes.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support informed business decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their financial needs, providing tailored solutions that drive their business success.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and the implementation of best practices to streamline financial operations.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid CPA designation.
  • Minimum of 5 years in accounting, preferably within a business management or CPA firm.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, financial regulations, and GAAP. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing a team effectively.
