As a Mobile Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile cranes on various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that materials and equipment are moved accurately and securely, contributing to the timely and successful completion of projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety standards.
Requirements
- Safely operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment as required by project specifications.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure safe crane placement.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on crane equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Calculate load weights and ensure that lifting operations do not exceed the crane’s capacity.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
- Work closely with site supervisors, construction workers, and other team members to coordinate lifting operations and project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents or issues encountered on-site
- Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating mobile cranes in a construction setting. - Valid crane operator certification/license required. Additional certifications (e.g., OSHA) are a plus.
