This role consists of minimizing customer downtime on equipment through quick, accurate diagnosis. Traveling via service truck, this role will be onsite with customers, performing maintenance and small repairs on various types of construction equipment. When not in the field, this role will work within the branch shop, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems, diagnosing diesel and gas engines, and performing maintenance on drive trains.

Preferred Qualities/Experience:
- Must have 5-7 years of demonstrable experience in repairing heavy construction rental equipment.
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical, electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Must have the tools you need to do the job; your hands will only get your so far.
- A DOT medical card is required – don’t have one? Don’t worry! We can help you get yours.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities in the field.
- Know how to use pinpoint directions! Familiarize yourself with your surroundings, or at least be able to use common mapping systems.
