Full Job Description
EXPANDED LEARNING PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR @ Francis Scott Key Elementary School
We are currently seeking committed and passionate Program Assistants to assist in leading Academic, Enrichment and Recreation activities for the Expanded Learning Program. Our ideal Program Assistant will have a strong dedication to youth development, a sense of creativity and enthusiasm and be able to commit to working the entire school year.

- Pay rate: $22 - $23 per hour DOE

Requirements
- Must have an AA degree or higher, 48 + college credits OR pass the SFUSD Instructional Aide Exam
- Ability to work Monday – Friday 2:00 pm- 6:00pm for the duration of the school year (hours will be determined at time of offer, between 20 – 30 hours per week until 6:00pm)
- Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents, community partners, and BACR staff.
- Must pass a criminal background check and have TB Clearance
- Experience working with Elementary youth preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in facilitating and planning academic skill-building activities based on student's skill levels and state educational standards
- Facilitate engaging lesson plans and enrichment and physical activities for students using learning targets and instructional strategies when the Program Instructor is out.
- Support students in developing the skills they need to be successful in school and life
- Actively supervise and ensure student safety at all times
- Communicate to parents about student progress and behavior
- Maintain accurate attendance records and reporting procedure
