Corporate Finance Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney to join a leading California law firm in its search for a Corporate Associate Attorney to join their Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of corporate transactional experience, with a specific emphasis on finance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities and Desired Experience:

• Advising clients on commercial financing, acquisition financing, and restructuring matters.
• Representing borrower and lender clients in complex commercial finance transactions, including: Senior and subordinated credit facilities; Syndicated facilities; Acquisition financing; Real estate-backed financing; Secured and unsecured bilateral credits.
• Strong debt-finance experience is preferred.
• A general corporate transactional background, including exposure to M&A, equity and debt financings, joint ventures, and “outside GC” work, is a plus.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing corporate and finance documentation is required.

Qualifications:

• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
