Community Contracts and Funding Specialist
Starting Salary Range: $63,011 - $75,613
GGRC is currently hiring for Community Contracts and Funding Specialist. This role will be responsible for working across the Community Services Department to develop and track contracts with service providers and community partners and tracking payouts and progress associated with special funds.
This role offers a hybrid schedule offering the opportunity to work out of our office in San Francisco and occasional travel between the counties of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin will be required.
What You'll Do:
- Create and execute Purchase of Service contracts with service providers including but not limited to Housing Services, Supported Living Services, and other community services
- Track and authorize invoice payments and funding transfers for Housing Development Organizations and Multifamily Housing invoices and contract activities, ensuring required paperwork is submitted before authorizing payment
- Act as a liaison between GGRC and GGRC legal counsel on contract language and content updates
- Create and implement a contract tracking system to ensure contracts are updated as required
- Create and monitor contracts associated with the Agency’s Request for Proposal funds and other Community Service Unit funds
- Work with staff to develop and implement contracts, including updating contract language, scope of work, milestone goals, and budgets as required for activities associated with Home and Community Based Services Compliance funding and Language Access and Cultural Competency funds
- Track funding expenditures, review invoices, and approve for payment by the agency fiscal department
- Act as a liaison with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to secure funding approvals and funding modifications on all Community Services Department project funding
- Track and report progress on contract goals to appropriate GGRC staff
- Review DDS guidance and directives, updating related processes and appropriate staff as needed
- Update GrantVantage and other grant tracking software as applicable to the funding source
- Train applicable staff on related DDS directives, funds and funding use
- Maintain all client information as confidential in compliance with the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the California Lanterman Act.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Experience with Microsoft applications including excel, ability to learn new technology applications
- Experience with grant tracking platforms a plus but not required
General Skills
- Able to commute to SF, Marin, and San Mateo as needed; minimal/infrequent travel outside of GGRC catchment area may be required
- Experience collaborating across teams and working with outside community partners
- Able to develop and implement data tracking systems
- Able to work independently and follow deadlines
- Comfortable reading legislation and regulations
- Able to cross train colleagues, agency staff, and community partners as needed
- Able to spend up to 8 hours per day on the computer
- Able to participate in frequent virtual meetings
