TRL11 is a venture backed deep tech / defence tech startup bringing cutting-edge video technology to Aerospace applications. Based in Irvine, CA, we are seeking highly passionate, skilled and experienced Business Development Managers. Join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of Human Space Exploration and US National Security.
BD Manager will lead our business efforts in the B2G government sector. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a vital role in identifying, developing, and maintaining business opportunities with stakeholders across governmentagencies including but not limited to Air Force, Space Force, NASA, NRO, DARPA, DIU, etc.
Requirements
- Government Business Development: Drive business growth in the government sector by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, contracts, and partnerships with government agencies and departments.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, including but not limited to Air Force, Space Force, NASA, NRO, DARPA, DIU, etc.
- Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research to identify potential government contracts and funding opportunities that align with TRL11's capabilities and strategic objectives.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to develop compelling and competitive proposals in response to government solicitations.
- Advocacy and Representation: Serve as the primary point of contact for government customers, advocating for TRL11's solutions and representing the company at industry events and conferences.
- Commercial Business Development Support: On occasion, collaborate with the commercial business development team to explore potential partnerships and commercial opportunities.
- Fundraising Support: Provide insights and support to fundraising efforts, as needed, to secure additional capital for TRL11's growth and expansion.
