RN Seasonal - Med Surg Telemetry

Summit Medical Staffing is looking for a talented RN Seasonal - Med Surg Telemetry to join our dedicated healthcare team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical telemetry unit. As an RN, you will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive assessments, develop patient care plans, and implement therapeutic interventions that promote optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient assessments to evaluate medical and surgical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Monitor patient vitals and telemetry readings, responding promptly to any changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and provide discharge planning.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain an organized and safe environment, adhering to healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; graduates from accredited nursing programs are encouraged to apply.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting is highly preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to prioritize patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement in nursing practice.
