Job Posting: Early Head Start Positions in Deer Valley School District
Join our team and make a difference in the lives of young children aged 0-3 and families in our community!
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate professionals to fill the following Early Head Start positions:
1. Early Head Start Assistant Teacher
- Hourly Pay: $16.10
- Schedule: Full-time, 12 months
2. Early Head Start Lead Teacher
- Hourly Pay: $19.77
- Schedule: Full-time, 12 months
Job Summary:
Both roles involve creating and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for infants and toddlers (ages 0-3) in a nurturing, supportive environment. The ideal candidates will work collaboratively with families and team members to ensure the highest quality early childhood education and care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an engaging, safe, and age-appropriate learning environment.
- Plan and implement curriculum activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Foster strong relationships with families, providing support and resources to encourage participation in their child's development.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's development and maintain accurate records.
- Comply with all Early Head Start program standards and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Early Head Start Assistant Teacher:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential in Infant/Toddler care preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Early Head Start Lead Teacher:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential in Infant/Toddler care preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Early Childhood experience preferred
