Paralegal in North Carolina

We are a medium-sized law firm with three offices in Asheville, Hendersonville and Raleigh. We are seeking a Paralegal or legal assistant to become a part of our Asheville team! You will provide overall support to clients, staff and attorneys' needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents
• Interface in person, by phone and by email with clients to help determine their needs and goals, and implement solutions
• Compile, Scan and File Estate Planning Documents
• Record and store client information
• Schedule clients for appointments and answer client calls and emails
• Assist with clients' titling of assets to comport with their estate plans and goals

• Professional and friendly interaction with clients and other team members via phone, email and in person.
• Prepare electronic and written correspondence; Process incoming and outgoing mail and filings.
• Review trusts, wills, powers of attorney and other estate planning documents; Review and analyze financial statements, beneficiary forms, etc.
• Prepare and file probate forms, applications, inventories, accountings, renunciations, schedules, petitions and orders.
